Two Day Horsemanship Clinics with the legendary
Gordon McKinlay
Gordon McKinlay one of Queensland’s’ most respected trainers is coming to TASMANIA to hold two Horsemanship Clinics and an Advanced Riding Clinic at Batten Park (Rodeo Ground) Ulverstone Tasmania.
If you ride in any discipline or just have horses to trail ride – You WILL benefit from Gordon’s clinics – you will end up with a SAFE, soft, responsive, respectful horse. It does not matter if you are a beginner or an advanced rider, all will be amazed at the results you achieve at Gordon’s clinics.
Gordon specialises in starting young horses, horsemanship, cattle skills (campdrafting & cutting), training challenging horses and Polocrosse.
He is recognised as the mentor of Clinton Anderson an Australian who is now one of America’s leading horse trainers, winning the prestigious ‘Road to the Horse’ two years in a row. Gordon himself was mentored by many of the greats such as Al Dunning, Lee Reborse and John Lyons. Gordon is renowned in the industry for achieving exceptionally soft versatile horses that excel in reining, hacking, show jumping, cutting, campdrafting and Polocrosse.
Participants at the last Gordon McKinlay Clinic ranging from basic riding skills to advanced campdrafting, polocrosse and dressage competitors all quoted it was one of the best clinics they had ever attended.
Clinic Dates are:
Clinic 1 Saturday 16th- Sunday 17th February 2008
Clinic 2 Wednesday 20th – Thursday 21st February 2008
Clinic 3 Advanced Riding Clinic - Monday 25th – Tuesday 26th February 2008
All clinics are held at Batten Park, Ulverstone. Camping facilities, yards and toilets facilities available. Morning and Afternoon tea provided.
All horses must have a bridle with a bit, all riders must wear safety helmets.
Cost for each clinic is $300 including GST.
Fence Sitters are welcome – Cost $20 each for one day $30 for two days.
